Affiliate marketers could be a long time for answering this query properly from the entire list of affiliate marketing questions. Although creating your own blog with WordPress as well as an Instagram account may take less than a minute but you’ll need longer to determine the specific niche you’re looking for, to begin with.

What is a subject? This is a subject you’ll typically blog about, not just blogging about anything and everything that is not meant to only help users find out what your blog is about but also to help Google rank your blog or site better.

To increase the chances of your chances of success in affiliate marketing you must select a niche that is dear to you.

The majority of all your energy will go into writing content around the subject that you’ve picked, if don’t know anything about the subject or, more likely that you’re not even interested in the subject, it will create new articles on product reviews or online videos for products challenging. And that’s not even counting the amount of effort (and energy) it’s going to take you to complete the work.

Furthermore, do you think you can convince people to try the product or service you recommend when you’re not sure that it’s worth the effort or aren’t sure how to use it? Most likely not. If you’ve found an area that you would like to be a part of then it’s time to search for affiliate programs that you can sign up to.

Then go to Google Keyword Planner and type in the words you have selected. Now select “Get search volume” and click on the button “Search for new keyword ideas.” Google will now show you how many people search for each keyword every month (and what percentage of them are your target audience).

For example, you might find that while the number of searches per month for the keyword “running shoes” is 1 million, the number of searches per month for the keyword “exercise gear” is 7 million. That’s seven times more traffic potential

Before you choose an affiliate niche, look around at the top affiliate sites and try to find out why they chose that niche. What do they have in common? Is it products? Traffic sources? Forums/communities? Niches like “make money online” or “affiliate marketing” are going to be crowded, but look for niches where there are a lot of successful affiliate sites, but where they’re not all competing against each other. If you compete against other affiliates, then you’ll have to go up against some heavy-hitters who will likely outrank you if you’re just starting out. There’s no way to know how much traffic a particular niche makes for its affiliates until you try it yourself, so keep your expectations realistic

    1) Find the most profitable products in that niche.

    2) Write a detailed buyer’s guide for the top 3 to 5 products.

    3) Choose a product, and develop an affiliate website for that product alone.

    4) Spend about 2 months researching, writing, and publishing content for your website.

    5) Focus on SEO as well as social media marketing for your website.

    6) Have patience!
